Burning Skull | Pyro Sim
This project explores stylized fire effects using the Axiom GPU pyro solver in Houdini. I applied the simulation to a detailed 3D skull model to create a surreal, high-energy visual inspired by neon and glitch aesthetics.
The fire effect was enhanced with particle-based embers to add subtle motion, energy, and atmosphere. Everything was simulated and shaded in Houdini, then rendered with Karma, with a focus on balancing realism and stylization through color, form, and lighting.
